Our counselors and customized coaches are ready to help where needed. They listen, explain, and ensure you have all the tools you need to do your job well. And behind the scenes, our administrative and support teams make sure everything runs smoothly. That way, you can focus on what you love to do, with support when you need it.
With us, you will work in a team that looks out for each other, where people help and encourage each other. Here, you can grow at your own pace and feel like you belong.

How you can contribute to
A-kwadraat
At our company, you will work alongside our permanent colleagues in production. You will help with packing, assembling, sorting, or finishing.
We often schedule student workers in production at short notice. If we need your help, we will call or text you a few days in advance (usually on Wednesday or Thursday for the following week). This way, you can decide for yourself whether you want to come in.
Duringthe summer, when many colleagues take leave, we look for extra hands to take on some of the work of our supervisors. As a student worker, you will help organize a specific project, ensure that everything runs smoothly, and sometimes help with some administrative tasks. When everything is running smoothly, you will of course also help out in production.
Student assistants are usually scheduled for a longer period, so that you can grow into your role at your own pace and really support the team. This way, you will immediately feel part of our A-kwadraat team.

What you need to know
Remuneration
We work 39.25 hours per week, but have a 38-hour working week. Permanent colleagues recover the extra hours later, while student workers are paid for them immediately at a slightly higher hourly rate.
In addition to your salary, you will receive a meal voucher worth €5.25 for each day worked, with a small statutory contribution of €1.09. This means you can work comfortably and be well rewarded.
Working hours
We work Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., unless we agree otherwise.
You will receive a time card, which you must return at the end of your last working day.
Your first day at work
On your first day, we expect you to arrive at 8:20 a.m. for a warm welcome. Together, we will go over the agreements, sign your contract, and accompany you to your department.
When you confirm, we will let you know which location we would like to welcome you to. From the second day onwards, you will simply start in the department where you left off the day before, so that you can get started smoothly and confidently.
Clothing
Most departments do not have any special dress code requirements. Just come to work looking neat and tidy. For your safety, we do ask that you wear closed shoes to protect your toes and heels.
In some departments, an apron and hairnet are mandatory. We also ask that you leave jewelry (rings, festival wristbands, visible piercings, etc.), nail polish/gel nails, and false eyelashes at home. This way, we can work together to ensure a safe and hygienic working environment.
Food and drink
Please bring your own lunch with you. Coffee and tea are available in our cafeteria, completely free of charge, and you can always get water from the taps. Of course, you are also welcome to bring your own drinks, for example in a plastic bottle that you can easily close.
Medical examination
Are you under 18 and would you like to work for us? We will provide you with a form to fill out and return to Idewe. This ensures that everything is done safely.
Are you over 18? Then you do not need to undergo a medical examination.
