Double spotlight on sustainable entrepreneurship

After winning the Voka Charter for Sustainable Entrepreneurship for the fifteenth time in the spring, our long-standing efforts in the field of sustainability were highlighted twice more this fall.

Not only were we nominated for the Sustainable Entrepreneurship Award, but we also received the prestigious SDG Champion certificate. Both recognitions are closely related to the expansion of our mission.

Building an inclusive and active region together

Sustainability, and social sustainability in particular, is very important to us. We want to help build an inclusive society. Our workforce is becoming increasingly diverse. We want to lower the threshold to paid work for more and more groups.

The impact we want to create is to increase the employment rate of relevant stakeholders in our region.

We do this in various ways:

• With our current target group, we are focusing even more on education, training, and development so that people can advance internally or externally. For example, by focusing on 21st-century skills.
• In collaboration with VDAB and local authorities, we are reaching out to new target groups . Here too, the objective is internal or external advancement.
• We offer our knowledge and expertise in the field of guidance and we develop partnerships with organizations that pursue the same goal.
• We engage in co-creation with customers, for example to tackle the challenges of the circular economy or the labor shortage in the healthcare sector.

We are therefore evolving from a customized company to an activation company.

In this way, we help to increase the employment rate in our region and enhance the job satisfaction of our employees. Because at A-kwadraat, everyone is included.
